The Gothic Shop was recently featured in the latest Alt Fasion Magazine (issue 13) gothic-lolita special. There is a stunning photograph of Lady Amaranth taken by the photographer Taya Uddin on the front of the magazine where Amaranth wears our favourite purple Lily corset. This magazine has been selling fast so don't delay if you wish to find out more about The Gothic Shop, gloomth, applying gothic make-up, Gotik Treffen and loads more.

We are sponsors of the Nosferatu drag car. Lady Amaranth recently did a photoshoot alongside the car to showcase some of our beautiful gothic clothing available at The Gothic Shop. These included the black velvet jacket with ribbon lacing down the back and a black PVC gothic lolita corset with bows.

24 May 2009: We are so proud of the Nosferatu racing team! Wish we had been there, we'll join you next time when you hit that 6 :) To view pics click here. "Sunday began with several Pro Et teams breaking out, so we knew that the weather was finally on our side for once, and maybe this could be a good day! We were really disappointed that our friends and sponsors from The Gothic Shop only got to see us manage our worst run of the weekend when they came to see us on Saturday, and this made us even more determined to pull something out of the hat today. Boy did we manage it! Both runs today improved our best ever times! We ended up on a 7.02 second ET on our second run. We are now so desperately close to being a 6 second car that it almost hurts! We broke out on both runs, but we still ended up in the number 9 slot, which leaves us in really good shape for the eliminations tomorrow. Oh yes, and the bottom photo proves that Nosferatu's rear wheels really do get airborne when the parachutes deploy! Almost 200 mph with the rear wheels airborne. No wonder they call him Fearless!"
23 May 2009: Today we had a fabulous day at Santa Pod with the Nosferatu team. For the latest news of the race and pics, and to see our banner on the rear wing of Nosferatu click here. "Saturday was a day of drama at Santa Pod, though thankfully our troubles were minor compared to some! Our day started off with a solid run, but yesterday's ET of 7.1571 was still the one that counted, leaving us number 8 (on a 7.14 index). Not bad. The decision was made that we were fairly satisfied with that run, and the car had been really consistent, so for a bit of fun we increased the boost on the blower. To cut a long story short, when Fearless hit the throttle the acceleration caused the fuel shut off lever to cut the supply of methanol off to the motor. No damage, but a wasted run. We were aiming for our first ever 6, so we were very disappointed! Below are some shots of the day, including a very welcome visit to the porta-crypt from our sponsors The Gothic Shop." Below are pics taken by Simon Hodder (aka Hunch), photographer for the Nosferatu racing team, www.simaxphotography.co.uk.

9 May 2009: We are pleased to announce that we are now sponsors of the underworld's meanest, darkest drag car - Nosferatu. Last year achieving a best time of 7.07s at 192mph over the quarter mile, this mean monster hopes to break the six second barrier this year. We've heard a rumour that there's some very spooky stuff going on in the Crypt at the moment, and we send the UK Super Pro ET team Nosferatu Racing our darkest wishes for the Main Event at Santa Pod later this month. This will be the first round of the prestigious European Drag Racing Championship and you can follow their progress at www.nosferatu-racing.co.uk. We will keep you posted about this fierce gothmobile, or better still, we might bump into you at the Main Event.
